With special emphasis in recent years, an increase has been verified not only demand but also the price of electricity, arising need to develop more reliable and efficient electrical energy conversion systems. In this context, emerges utilization modular multilevel converter (MMC) based on submodules. The key MMC is modularity, which allows reach higher performance levels, improving voltage current output signals converter, a compact solution. modularity concept operation using submodules series, operating parallel.
